Center for Asia-Pacific Fiscal Affairs
The Center for Asia-Pacific Fiscal Affairs (CAPFA) was established on Feb. 1, 2013, to conduct research on the issues of public financial management of the region and support the government within the region in developing fiscal policies.
KIPF and the World Bank concluded an MOU in 2012 for international fiscal cooperation. Following this MOU, CAPFA houses the Secretariat for the Public Expenditure Management Network in Asia (PEMNA), a peer-learning network for the public financial management practitioners in the Asia-Pacific region.
CAPFA conducts research and policy studies on fiscal policies, fiscal systems, fiscal management, as well as on treasury and accounting systems in the Asia-Pacific region.
CAPFA fosters cooperation and exchanges with fiscal experts through organizing international conferences and researches. In line with this objective, CAPFA has collaborated with institutes such as the World Bank, OECD, ADB, IMF, etc.
